Many opportunities await you at Camp Mount Luther! The camp is nearly 400 acres of programming possibilities. No matter what you have in mind, we have the facilities that you need to "Create Your Own Program". Whether you are planning a reunion, retreat, or an event of your own creation, Camp Mount Luther can accommodate you!

Planning a reunion or picnic? Make Camp Mount Luther your first choice. The camp offers a pavilion/ pool area perfect for such an event. Our pavilion seats 150 people and features a barbeque pit nearby. A large swimming pool is situated in close proximity to the pavilion, we can even provide a lifeguard if you cannot supply your own. Two volleyball courts, one grass and one sand are located near the pavilion/pool area… keep in mind that volleyball events make terrific fund-raisers! We also have a twenty-hole Frisbee golf course available for your use.

Camp Mount Luther's facilities are ideal for retreats, conferences, mission trips, or vacations. We have a TV and VCR in each large meeting space. The camp offers many housing and meal options for groups both large and small who would like to do their own cooking, or who would prefer to be cooked for. Fire pits have been established throughout the property for campfire programs such as storytelling, or for groups who wish to cook over open-flame. We also have many sites designated for Bible Study and Worship in a natural setting.

Does your program idea require expansive wilderness? We've got it. Do you need wide open spaces and fields for running or playing? We've got that too. How about a freshwater pond or stream? You guessed it…Camp Mount Luther has it all! Our pond is great for catch and release fishing or canoeing and the camp can supply any group with canoeing equipment and a lifeguard if needed. If there are three or more inches of snow on the ground we also have cross-country ski equipment available for you to use.

Planning a day hike or a multi-day camping trip? Look no further than Camp Mount Luther. Folks have been using Mount Luther for forty years to hike, camp, learn about, and re-connect with the outdoors. We even have a self-guided nature trail, complete with it’s own quiz, as well as many wilderness trails that are begging to be explored. Feel free to test your body and mind on our challenge course, which is designed for both physical skill and teamwork. If you love the outdoors or wish to learn more about the outdoors come check out Camp Mount Luther, we are the outdoor education facility for three area school districts.

Do you belong to a group or organization that is in need of a work or service project? There is always something that can be done at Camp Mount Luther! From general maintenance to volunteer work, Mount Luther just may be the outlet you need for your project.

Mount Luther also owns cross-country ski equipment for groups to rent and use on the property. If we have at least three inches of snow on the ground, you are welcome to come and ski for the day or reserve cabins for overnight stays. Just call the camp at (570) 922-1587 to make arrangements to come up and ski. Kindly give 48 hours advance notice.

The camp is within easy hiking distance of the Mid-State trail and the Hook Natural Area, a state forest preserve. Raymond B. Winter State Park is only 10 miles from the camp. Tours of the facilities are available upon request.
