God, along with our articles of incorporation, calls Camp Mount Luther to minister to people of all ages. We are excitedly looking for new ways to minister to the adults in our synod. Camp has been providing ministry to young adults for over 60 years by employing and ministering to summer camp counselors. We offer them valuable leadership training, first-aid skills, and personality insights through the MBTI assessment.

Last year we branched out and held an Alumni Staff Work Weekend. Alumni staff from a few eras came to do work projects for Saturday and have fellowship time on Friday and Saturday nights. Camp also took over programming of the Bishop Days for rostered and other leaders of the synod, providing space and time for ministry workers to get away and rest.
We are planning to offer a variety of other opportunities for adult engagement in 2025, including more MBTI-centered personality retreats, an Advent Holy Hike in December, and one-on-one spiritual direction sessions. As the capital campaign creates more comfortable spaces for adults on our campus, we look forward to hosting some overnight retreats for adults in the future. We are also in the process of some fact-finding on how to reshape our Young Adult Fellowship.
