Experience the Wonder of Advent on the Trail

You’re invited to celebrate the season of Advent in a unique and meaningful way at Camp Mount Luther’s Advent Holy Hike on Sunday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m.

This special event combines the beauty of nature with the joy of worship. The Advent Holy Hike is a woodland service of lessons and carols, where participants will journey together along the trails of Camp Mount Luther, pausing along the way to hear the Christmas story told through Scripture, to pray, and to sing beloved Advent and Christmas songs. As we walk through God’s creation, we’ll prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ—the Light of the World.

The hike begins and ends at camp’s Evergreen Center. After the service, we’ll enjoy warm fellowship with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate—a perfect way to conclude an afternoon of reflection, joy, and community.

Whether you’re a longtime camper, a friend of the camp, or someone simply looking for a fresh way to experience Advent, this event offers a peaceful pause in the busyness of the season. All ages are welcome, and families are especially encouraged to join. Come dressed for the weather and ready for a gentle hike through the beauty of winter at Camp Mount Luther.

Join us on December 7 at 2 p.m. and step into the story of Advent surrounded by God’s creation and God’s people.

Come walk, sing, pray, and prepare the way of the Lord!
