Dinner Devotions- Day 1

Prayer:  Dear God, sometimes we don’t know where life is going. Sometimes we don’t know how to deal with what is going on right now, today, in our lives. Whenever we get scared of the future, help us to remember that you go with us, no matter where we go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reading:  Isaiah 41:8-10 – “But you, Israel my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Draw a favorite time you went on a trip or find a photo (send it to us!) – share a story about the trip and the destination.  Upload a picture at https://photos.app.goo.gl/gEQ1HioibrK8kogYA  OR make a video on Flipgrid:  (code) virtualcml (password) mtluther2020

Did you know where you were going ahead of time? Did the trip goes as planned? Was the destination fun/exciting? Tell us about it!

Maybe there were unexpected twists, but you chose the trip for a reason, it ended up being your favorite. Trust that God is good in all circumstances, even when the journey is rough or long. Just as Abraham and Sarah did as God led them to their ultimate promised destination.
