Reading: Psalm 100
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness;
come into his presence with singing.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him; bless his name.
For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever
and his faithfulness to all generations.
Reflection:
Well, yesterday was Thanksgiving and I hope you had a nice day. I hope you remembered to give thanks to God for the blessings of the year. Maybe your family even has the tradition for going around the table and saying what you are thankful for during the past year. I hope you are not tired of giving thanks. I am a firm believer that every day should be a day of giving thanks to God. We should live a life full of gratitude. We should give thanks even for the little things. On the horrible days it might help to find some things to be thankful for. It could brighten the day and/or your mood. I know it helps me to think of all I have and give thanks for my many blessings. One of things I am thankful for today is all the scrumptious leftovers!!

Prayer:
Good and gracious God, we thank you for all you have blessed us with. We thank you for our family and friends and the time we get to spend with them. We thank you for the food on our tables and the roof over our heads. We thank you for the land and the water that you have created. Help us take care of each other and the world in which we live. In Jesus name.
Amen.
