A Week Where Imagination Comes to Life
Picture this. A young camper steps onto the path at Camp Mount Luther and hears whispers of adventure. Somewhere in the woods, a dragon might be guarding treasure. A wizard may be searching for brave companions. Knights are preparing for a quest. And the only thing missing is a hero.
This summer, Fantasy Week invites campers to step into a story of courage, friendship, and imagination. Inspired by the creativity of role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, some of our staff began imagining what it would be like if camp itself became a fantasy world. The result is Week 4, when the grounds of Camp Mount Luther transform into a place filled with dragons, wizards, quests, and epic adventures.
Campers ages 9–15 will spend the week exploring that world together—solving challenges, playing games, singing songs, growing in faith, and discovering that the greatest adventures often happen when friends work together.
A First Taste of Camp
Not ready for a full week away yet? Younger campers can still join the adventure.
During the same week, Mini Camp welcomes children ages 5–12 from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon. It’s a shorter stay, but it still includes many of the things that make camp special—songs, games, campfire moments, and new friendships. For many children, it’s the perfect first step into the Camp Mount Luther experience.
Training the Next Generation of Leaders
For teens who are ready for a bigger role, ages 16–17, the Staff-in-Training (SIT) program offers a chance to see what life is like on summer staff.
SITs work alongside cabin leaders, learning how to guide campers, support their peers, and grow into leaders themselves. Many of our best staff members started in this program, discovering their passion for serving others and helping younger campers thrive.
A New Opportunity for Adults
This year, adults can also step into the story. On July 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., we’re offering Adult Grow and Lunch. Participants will explore the Bible stories campers are learning that week during a study led by a camp chaplain, followed by lunch and fellowship. It’s a meaningful way to connect with the faith experiences happening at camp.
Your Adventure Awaits
Every week at Camp Mount Luther blends small-group cabin time, large-group games, outdoor adventure, and faith-filled community. Campers laugh together, learn together, and grow together in ways that stay with them long after summer ends. And during Fantasy Week, those memories will be wrapped in a story of dragons, quests, and imagination.
If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time to join the adventure.
