As you start to think about the coming camp season, you might be wondering what to expect.
We hope we trade any anxiety for excitement!

More than anything else, you can expect to have lots of fun when you come to camp. Whether its canoeing, swimming, fishing, low ropes course, gaga ball, four square, nine-square-in-the-air, capture the flag, disc golf, hiking, camping, singing, birdwatching, stargazing, crafts, Lego, or camel spotting, we’ve got something for everyone! Come spend a week with us and we suspect you’ll probably never want to leave.

Our curriculum this summer is “Created to Be” and focuses on this theme verse: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well” (Psalm 139:14). We will spend our week exploring four main topics: Created to be Free, Created to be Authentic, Created to be Brave, and Created to be Disciples. Our hope is that you will learn more about the person God created you to be as well as all the amazing things God has done and continues to do for you!

GROW Time happens three times a day and is a time for spiritual formation. It’s an acronym that stands for Gather and Reflect On the Word. Morning GROW time is called “First Light” and includes reading the scriptures assigned for that day and reflecting a little on the theme. Evening GROW time is called “Eventide” and gives campers a chance to get creative with what they learned in the morning. The day ends with cabin or all-camp worship, offering praise and petition to God around the day’s theme.

The schedule changes week-to-week and depending on what kind of camp you’ve registered for. Day campers don’t participate in the evening activities and mini campers are only with us for half the week. But the week tends to follow this tentative schedule:

Evening: arrive, settle in, and enjoy all-camp opening and worship

Morning: breakfast, First Light, team building activities, games or crafts
Afternoon: lunch, swimming, games or crafts
Evening: dinner, Eventide, more games, hiking, or swimming, cabin worship
