Giving Tuesday Gratitude: You Helped Us Surpass Our Goal!

Last week’s Giving Tuesday was truly something special. Our community showed up in a big way—celebrating and supporting the life-changing experiences that happen every year at Camp Mount Luther. While much of our annual fundraising energy goes into Raise the Region each March, in recent years we’ve also embraced the momentum of Giving Tuesday. And this year, thanks to you, we didn’t just meet our $3,000 goal for campership support—we exceeded it! Our final total: $3,320.

Why Your Support Matters

Camp Mount Luther relies on generosity all year long. In 2024 alone, we awarded nearly $10,000 in scholarships to campers who needed financial assistance. Requests for help have been growing, and we’re committed to ensuring that no child is ever turned away because of cost. Your Giving Tuesday gifts help us continue that vital promise.

But the impact of your support goes even further. Our Annual Fund fuels every part of camp life—from maintaining our facilities, to staffing our summer ministry team, to providing camperships, and everything in between. This is a perfect moment to consider an end-of-year gift or to become a sustaining monthly donor. And if you’d still like your contribution to count toward our Giving Tuesday total, just add “Giving Tuesday” in the comment line when you give online.
